I Phoenix have been working with LCH for the past 2.5 years now and during that time i have worked on Draglines, Shovels, Washplants, Stacker Reclaimers, ROMs. While working on these jobs i have demonstrated the use of ppe and what is needed for the task. I can read detailed drawings and have the experience to find a solution to either help of complete the task. In 2024 I worked on Callide Power Station B cooling tower and learnt basic pinning of structure using mechanical aids and tools but was only exposed to large scale structures for a short period of time but am keen to learn anything new or anything to benefit the job.
Some tasks the i have completed with Shovels and Draglines are Boom replacements, A-Frame replacement,
Walking gear replacements, Motor replacements, Compressor replacements and Swing Replacements
Working within Washplants, Stacker reclaimers and ROMs using chainblocks and lever blocks when fitting pipes, metal wear plate, small shaker screens, centrifuges and cyclones, have worked on installing roller frames, head and tail pullys on conveyor belt change outs or just pully change outs.
When working with CQFMS i working on a number of washplants, stacker reclaimers, conveyor belts, ROMs, Shovels. while working with them i got exposed to the use of chain blocks and lever blocks, I work along side fitters and other riggers pulling of screens, pipes, centrifuges and pumps. The tasks i was involved with when working on the shovels were splitting the house and carbody, track replacements, getting equipment ready for tranport.
During the time i worked hear i started off as a floor labour, then moved into receiving the finished clean linen and strapped/ packed ready for delivery. 6 months in the then trained me um into dispatch/ mechanic, i wold fix iron rollers, belt convers, airlines, sensors and computer faults.
when i got the the end on my time working for them i started to drive a forklift and became their forklift drive for about 4 months loading semi trailers and loading the feed line.
