My name is Phuc Bao Uyen Tran, a second-year student pursuing a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education at Ikon Institute. My teaching philosophy is rooted in Vygotsky’s Sociocultural Theory, which emphasizes the significance of social interactions, culture, and linguistic diversity in the development and learning of young children. I believe that children are naturally inquisitive and capable learners who actively build knowledge through meaningful experiences with peers, educators, and their surroundings.
I am committed to fostering an inclusive, play-based, and stimulating learning environment where children feel safe, secure, valued, and supported in their exploration and learning. Moreover, I believe in the significance of building healthy relationships with children, families, and the community to boost the holistic development of children. My goal is to lay a solid foundation for children’s future success by nourishing them to become confident, involved, and capable learners.
