- Spent the summer of 2022/2023 working the grain harvest in South Australia. Prospered in this role getting to utilize a strong work ethic.
- Formed relationships with everyone around, from new work sites to residency on a farm. Showed respect and the willingness to help where needed.
- Performed duties of the tarping team which involved winching tarps up onto bunkers, welding them together and pulling them.
- Operated hopper and stacker machines prior to the tarping team. Performing pre-start checks, maintaining and operating the machines safely.
- Carried out tasks on the daily to ensure the safety, productivity and efficiency of the site.
- Stayed towards the end of season fulfilling office duties in a weighbridge. Processed trucks gross, tare and net weights, printed tickets and provided guidance for inloaders and outloaders.
- Worked very flexible hours 6-7 days a week with early starts and late finishes enduring the heat.
- Constantly engaged and motivated to learn new things. Trained in various different roles on the job attaining many new skills.
