My long-term career objective is to specialise as an advocate in migration law and represent my client’s interest with compassion and understanding. In the short-term, I intend to continuously develop and improve my knowledge of the migration law and advocacy skills whilst maintaining effective and meaningful relationship with colleagues, and keeping up with the jurisprudence. With constantly advancing technology, I intend to constantly learn, adapt and adjust. As this role was in the finance department of Officeworks, it taught me the importance of attention to detail and time management whilst dealing with numbers extensively. Furthermore, this role exposed me to the importance cross over and how having some knowledge about other areas of the industry a person works in could be helpful.
