Hi, I come from France and worked from 17 to 25 years old. Below are the trades I have practiced so far. But that’s not all, I am a person who loves to learn and discover all things in life. I love challenges. I have done a lot of sports like rugby (6years), gymnastics (7years), tennis (3years) but also 6years fighting sports. There are many others that I have practiced but I will not mention them all. I always needed to prove to myself what I was capable of. When I was 22, my father gave me a donation, an apartment that I renovated entirely from youtube tutorial. I learned to make plaster, plaster, parquet, tile, I completely redid the kitchen, redid the electrical circuits and paint. After doing that I understood that many things were feasible and that we just had to give ourselves the means and believe in them. So I did beside my work do kitchens, made parquet with friends. We also rented a truck to move our apartment. Today I am here in Australia and I want to discover everything that my beautiful country has to offer, both in the different trades as in the landscapes. That’s why I’m applying today to your company, in order to bring you my skills but also to learn new ones.
I was a delivery man of beer barrels and also alcoholic beverages (strong alcohol, wine, liqueurs). In the morning when I arrived I took my truck with tailgate and went to deliver in bars, nightclubs, restaurants.. We went down in the old narrow cellar of Toulouse to deliver sometimes up to 120 barrels for a single bar, so it was very physical, but for this kind of delivery we were always two. We started at 5 am to finish around 1/2 pm. Often at the end of a delivery, the customer would offer us something to drink that we would enjoy before heading back to the next customer. When I had delivered everything, I went back to the depot and loaded my truck for the next day.
I also came here to improve my English, I have all the basics and I can understand and make myself understood to work. But when someone speaks to me quickly or with a strong accent, I must admit that it is still difficult. That’s why I hope that despite everything I will be given my chance.
