Completed 120 Hour work placement and learnt caring procedures like :
- Hand Sanitization, medication, daily reporting, preventing falls, evening walks, feeding, personal hygiene, grooming, oral hygiene, food and fluid care.
- Using aids: Residents’ mobility by assisting with walking, use of wheelchairs and hoists and other aids and transfers.
- Documentation: Assisted in documenting vitals, behaviors, and medications.
- Administered simple range of motion exercises.
- Kept residents mentally alert by entertaining, conversing and reading aloud to residents.
- Assisted the residents with challenging behavior, by participation in the development and implementation of an individually designed management plan.
- Other responsibilities as advised by RN.
- Worked flexible hours across night, weekend and holiday shifts.
