  • Contribute to the development of specialized AI by providing expert insights for training in the physics domain.
  • Leverage physics concept to refine the capabilities of generative AI models.

Tour Guide at Grote Reber Museum

University of Tasmania
01.2024 - Current
  • I run tours for visitors and school groups at the Grote Reber Museum and the Mt Pleasant Radio observatory facility.

Tutor and Lab Instructor

University of Tasmania
01.2020 - Current
  • I have tutored first and second-year mathematics and physics courses/labs.

Doctoral researcher

University of Tasmania
01.2020 - 01.2025
  • Scheduled and ran observations of the Mars Express spacecraft using UTAS’ network of telescopes.
  • Conducted the first investigation of the large-scale structure of solar wind along the sightlines of Earth and Mars over three Mars orbital periods between 2013 and 2020.
  • Estimated noise budget and system noise performance of the VLBI radio telescopes over the course of the Mars Express observation while proposing a new idea of using co-located antennas for evaluating different noise sources.
  • Conducted radio science observations including the commissioning phase of JUICE, pre-landing of the Mars Perseverance rover, and the Solar Orbiter flyby of Venus.

Technical staff at Mt Pleasant, Hobart

Skynet Robotic Telescope Network
06.2024 - 12.2024
  • Setting up the mechanical backend and assisting in wiring the electronic backend of the telescope.
  • The 14m telescope is intended to be a part of NASA’s Skynet Robotic Telescope Network.

Summer Project Intern

University of Tasmania
06.2022 - 08.2022
  • I performed a literature review on UHF antennas and drew up the most viable design within the allocated budget.
  • I built a functioning ZCG Yagi antenna with Software Defined Radio capability to add to the network of the university’s telescopes for tracking of CubeSats.

Student research intern

National Centre for Radio Astrophysics, India
05.2015 - 07.2015
  • Was the first to profile the B1508+55 pulsar using the newly installed backend. Thus, providing a review of it in comparison to the previous backend.
