Abbotsford Primary School, Abbotsford.
Role: Registered Landscape Architect
- A successful aesthetically pleasing and functional master plan document was presented to the clients. A masterplan that aims to provide an understanding of the overall landscape structure and vision. The plan was designed considering the requirements and ideas with school kids. The master plan comprised of areas that needed rejunivation like replanting the existing garden beds, the east and west side of the school, adding a new bio diversity area in the south, new play equipments, cubby house, nature play area, art walls and more seating areas around the school. It also included removing the synthetic lawn on the east side and replacing it with the natural lawn to help towards bio- diversity and reducing the hard surfaces and heat retention giving the kids some natural play space.
Bridgefield Park 9, Bridgefield Estate, Rockbank.
Role: Registered Landscape Architect (Budget: $450,000)
- Created detailed documentation package that met the needs of client while adhering to environmental sustainability and aesthetic standards. The proposed design consisted of play equipments like Swings, Carousel, Springer and Slides. Other design elements include were BBQ, drinking fountain, shelter, seating areas and mass planting. The main challenge in this project was design considering the budget. To understand the design better detail sections and elevations were produced. The design went into several adjustments in to bring the project within the budget and comply with Melton Council standards.
Anchoridge Sales Office, Anchoridge Estate, Armstrong Creek,
Role: Landscape Architect (Budget: $100,000)
- I was involved in this project to design the entire design package for Anchoridge Sales Office. The design brief included play area for kids, planting around the site, and dedicated areas to show the display gardens for the Estate. The play area consisted of design elements like Giant Jenga, timber logs, rocks, wooden tractor and Hopscotch. The main challenge in this project was the main sales office site was relocated to this new site which was half the size of the existing. All the design elements of the old site were considered. Various 3D renderings were produced using Google Sketch Up software for clear understanding of the proposed design in terms of circulation of different spaces.
Asling Street, Brighton, Landscape Architect and Architect,
Role: Landscape Architect (Budget: $400,000 - $500,000)
- This High-end residential job included overall landscape package for Client under the supervision of Landscape Designer. The design brief included front fence, extending existing driveway, swimming pool, mass planting, half basketball court, outdoor room in barn style as well as overall interiors of the house. The design had to go through planning process as the main outdoor room was to be constructed considering the building regulations in Victoria. The existing trees were to be retained considering their matured size and heritage importance. The brief was also to provide the client with information on paving materials, pool fence details, and outdoor seat in garden area.
Mount Buller Project
Role: Landscape Architect
- I was involved in designing overall landscape plan for town planning process. This project was quite challenging as the project was in Mount Buller. The plant list was prepared considering the site conditions. 2m width around the building was not planted for the snow apron. The left-over site was designed carefully with all native plant species of that area. The local council list was considered.
Greythorn Road, Balwyn
Role: Landscape Architect
- Prepared plans under the supervision of the Director of company. Attended VCAT session along with the director to get the understanding of the overall VCAT process. The neighbourhood was important factor while designing this Child Care centre as it was in the residential area. Many screening hedges were planted along the boundaries for sound proofing and privacy for neighbouring houses.
