Quality Assurance and Control Engineer – Paid Internship

- Engaged with the Quality testing team of 220W, and 440W solar panels in operating EVT machine and sun-simulator to increase production and satisfy client's requirements
- Utilized Six Sigma tools and data logging to minimise errors and continuously improve the quality of the Solar panels
- Pre-commissioning and commissioning site inspections were conducted to take design reviews for solar panels and other raw material requirements on Australian standards and regulations
- Assisted in calibration of sun-simulator, and programming of EVA sheet cutting machines and conveyors depending on configuration features and size variations of panels
- Initiated taking responsibility for inspecting certain samples where the power achieved was lower and finding the root cause of the error
- Assumed accountability for identified mistakes, promptly learned from them, and made notable quality and productivity progress throughout my internship.
Quality Assurance and Control Engineer – NDT Level 2 Technician (FIFO)

- Liaised with the quality testing team to detect cracks in automotive parts, utilising magnetic and ultrasonic testing
- Conducted onsite testing performing NDT methods followed by industrial paperwork with attention to specific cracks which the R&D Department should analyse in detail
- The report that is forwarded to the R&D department contains information on Failure mode effective analysis (FMEA) and root cause analysis (RCA) on defective parts and pipelines
- Sampling plans were performed for a set of Automotive parts with higher cracks
- These samplings will be set alone and analysed for the Root cause
- Performed radiographic testing to detect cracks in water, oil, and gas pipelines after performing critical analysis on water and sewerage flow rates
- Monitoring and Conditioning equipment on a regular basis.
