  • Strong understanding of Aboriginal culture and ability to work in a manner that is sensitive to Aboriginal cultural requirements
  • Develop strong relationships with external stakeholders (Aboriginal representative bodies, clients)

Involvementsandachievements

  • Been heavily involved negotiating the Agreement with Vista Gold on behalf of the Jawoyn Association as the Chief Executive Officer. In regards to Mt Todd Gold Mine in Katherine.
  • Been involving with the 10 year Joint Management Plan for Nitmiluk National Park while being the Deputy Chairperson of the Board of Management.
  • Been involved with the planning and completion of the Cicada Lodge Project in Nitmiluk National Park as the Chief Executive Officer and Cicada Board of Director.
  • I also lead and brought Indigenous people from across the NT together for the Katherine Region Land Council movement on economic development.
