Project #1: Grange Insurance

• Performed API testing on static and variable forms for both Commercial and Personal Lines of insurance as part of the Grange Insurance project.
• Used Postman to send compose requests and used the output in RubyMine, and therefore generated the PDF to verify the values of the forms. Submissions were being created in Guidewire to get the payloads.

Project #1: COPS (Catering Operations)

• Maintained COPS data for total items uplifted into aircraft trolleys, total sold quantity, and trolleys offloaded from aircraft. Checked for discrepancies in total sold by crew, total cash deposited by crew and cash received by finance.
• Validating SSRS reports created with COPS data for the users.

Project #2: Navitaire

• Testing of data mart, which includes booking details like PNR/passenger-level info, flight-level information. Real-time reporting, such as GoNow, to analyze check-in and boarding, and support ancillary sales across base stations.
• Validated Power BI dashboards and SSRS reports, which were generated to record future group bookings and departures.

Project #3: AIMS (Airplane Information Management System)

• Validated AIMS database system that contains flight details and crew roster information. Reports like OTP (On-Time Performance) to monitor on time performance of flights and OTT (On-Time Turn Around) to check the time required to unload an airplane after its arrival at the gate and prepare for its departure again. Reports on crew roster details, qualifications, and training-related information.
• Analyzing requirements from the Business at client side and identified the source data to present in the reports on the basis of mapping documents.
• ETL execution and validation of data from source to target using SQL queries, along with error handling. Also, ensure that the ETL batch performs the required data transformations and loads as specified in the requirement document.
• Worked on tabular cube data validation, and then the same data presented in Power BI and SSRS reports.

Project #1: Duck Creek System

Duck Creek is a web application created for creation and submission of policies. All the data from the Reservation System was migrated to Duck Creek and now this application is being used majorly. The data created at the front end is validated in the database with the help of SQL queries, and then this data is further loaded into the data warehouse.

Project #2: GL (General Ledger Financial Data Mart)

The introduction of the GL project automated financial calculations for Berkshire Hathway Speciality Insurance (BHSI) that were previously done manually in Excel. The process involves monthly premium coding data, claims data, and Quarterly Operating expense data, which is sent to the Omaha Finance Team. They, in turn, perform data cleansing and store this data in MS Access. After applying various business rules, quarterly finance reports are generated, and the required financial data is uploaded to a cloud-based ERP system (SunGard).

Project #3: Reservation System and HRMS

Reservation system is a web based application used for creation of policies. The application helps users to create and maintain the data of all the insurance policies, from creation to closure or renewal. The system holds all the master data, which is further used to create the submissions.

HRMS is developed and maintained in open-source technologies that offer an exhaustive list of modules to suit the business needs in HR-related functional areas of the organization. Various modules at HRMS include Admin Module, PIM, Leave, Reports, and ESS.

• Requirement gathering from Business analyst and understanding the Functional Specification Documents.
• Creating detailed Test scenarios, Test case preparation, Test case Execution, reporting Defects in SpiraTest, generating Test Outcome Report.
• Preparation of test data, verifying the data in XML and validation of data in the database to verify the correctness of data captured.
• Testing of front end application and validation of generated Reports.
• Optimized Data warehouse for efficient generation of general ledger reports with SQL scripting.
• Performed System and Regression testing and provided support to team during SIT/UAT phase.
• Participating in calls with Clients, Release Managers for providing the present status of testing, addressing the critical issues and understanding the expectations of the stakeholders.
