• Responsive for the safe loading and unloading of passengers and crew, safe operation of vessels, and navigation within the harbor and/or open ocean.
• Leading crews as senior skipper, in charge of daily operations of vessels, assigning crew to tasks and vessels, assisting with daily start-up tasks, vessel pre-starts, and general daily tasks where necessary.
• Overseas training and crew compliance routinely conduct and lead skipper and crew briefings, ensuring tasks are performed as per company policies in a manner that aligns with business structures, safety, and legislation.
• Supervise and manage day-to-day scheduling of maintenance projects, assist with and conduct repairs where necessary, schedule and carry out routine vessel maintenance such as basic repairs, fault finding, routine oil changes, and general vessel upkeep.
