Having an opportunity to be a part of the Thailand study tour in August to promote the healthcare in Australia to Thailand and having a chance to experience and observe the healthcare system in Thailand

• Administered medications via oral, IV, and intramuscular injections and monitored responses.
• Having a chance to participate and observe the operation theatre for CABG and watching scrub/scout nurses working.
• Supported nursing staff by performing routine tasks such as taking vitals, administering medications, and documenting patient information.
• Reviewed charts, doctor notes and test results to gather information on patients.
• Explained course of care and medication side effects to patients and caregivers in easy-to-understand terms.
• Conducted thorough head-to-toe assessments on assigned patients during each shift, identifying any abnormalities that required further attention from healthcare providers.
• Doing pre-op checklist and post op-checklist on cardiothoracic patients

• Administered medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and wellbeing.
• Consistently provided emotional support for patients experiencing stress or anxiety related to their medical conditions or treatment plans.
• Bladder scan

• IDC remover and measuring catheter in fluid balance chart
• Keeping track on food balance chart
• Bed wash and shower patient

• Perform ADL and assist with lifter feeding for advanced dementia patient and other with swallowing difficulties
• Application of standard and transmission based precautions
• Implementation of protocols for specific infectious diseases
• Simple wound packing
• Perform vital signs on patient
• Documentation patient’s vital signs and behavioural chart
• Perform theurepeutic relationship with patient

• Support RN and EN to do vital signs, BGL and FBC on patients
• Assist RN and EN to do ADL for elderly
• Do ISBAR handover through phone and in person with nurses
• Make bed and prepare bed for patients
• Prepare medication, transfer call for patient, do nursing note under RN supervision
• Patient feeding assistance for dementia patient and patient with mobility limitation
• Performing and demonstrating subcutanous injection on patient under the supervision of an RN
• Performing IV bolus and flushes in patient under the supervision of RN
• Independenttly assisting patient with adls and pads changing
• Organising and taking nursing notes at the end of every shifts
