Provide appropriate ward based care in an acute care setting, including care and management of NIV and DKA patients, and recognising and responding to a deteriorating patient

Working within a multidisciplinary environment as a direct representative of the Acute Medical Unit, which includes supporting the NUM / A/NUM and also fellow staff of the ward

Assist with discharge planning of patients which requires effective communication with relevant stakeholders

General ward based care, including assisting patients regain adequate physical function with the aim to be able to return home

Attend to wound care / medication management within the clients home
