Summary

I would describe myself as a dedicated and compassionate nurse with experience in direct patient care and care coordination in a fast-paced environment. Proven to remain calm under pressure and skillfully handle difficult patients and high-stress situations. Consistently developing strong relationships with patients and families through empathetic communication, respectful attitude and excellent customer service. While working on a medical ward in Ireland I gained vital skills at multitasking and prioritizing patient needs with willingness to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals. Since arriving in Australia I have gained vast experience working with Alliance nursing throughout various hospitals in Sydney. My work history includes various medical wards, a three month contract in Ryde Hospital Emergency Department in which I gained diverse experience in direct patient care, staff supervision and department operations. I am currently working within Justice Health in The Metropolitan Remand and Reception Centre. This includes conducting health assessments, alcohol and drug treatment, medication management and chronic disease management. I have been based in MRRC since January 21 and have thoroughly enjoyed my time working there. I am currently seeking a job that offers professional challenges utilizing interpersonal skills, excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
