Summary

ACA qualified accountant trained through KPMG Dublin Consumer Industrial Markets (CIM) Audit Department. Successfully passed my required professional accounting exams with Chartered Accountants Ireland in 2022 and became fully qualified in June 2023. I continuously received high performance rankings with KPMG which displays overall performance was to a superb standard, exceeding expectations of the role.

I have experience auditing single entity and consolidated financial statements in the fast moving consumer goods industry for private limited companies and PLC's across IFRS, Irish and UK accounting standards. I am currently looking to further my skills in the finance industry.

  • I led audit engagement teams which involved managing the day to day relationship with the audit client during fieldwork, managing the audit team, which involved delegating, reviewing audit workpapers and providing input into the annual appraisal process
  • I was involved in preparing key audit deliverables as well as planning, preparing and completing audit procedures. I provided high-level recommendations and improvements on areas of concerns to enhance performance as part of these audit procedures
  • I have been involved in audits of multiple, complex group entities with significant revenues. These engagements involved the audit of individual entities in the group and the audit of the consolidated financial statements of groups

Hailstone Holdings Unlimited (Private Irish company, Mercedes Benz Distributor & Plant Hire company - turnover of €0.4bn) - Four consecutive years auditing this company. Senior in charge of a team of 8 associates and component auditors for the investment entities. Responsible for auditing areas such as revenue recognition and cut-off, and inventory. Audited the consolidation process which included two motor industry entities, the plant hire division (consisting of 4 entities located in Ireland and the UK) with acquisition accounting, and investments. Prepared the audit findings report for presentation to the Board following the completion of audit work.

ABP Food Group (Meat processing industry - Turnover of €3.8bn) - Led a team of 2 associates in auditing the Convenience Foods division based in the UK. Responsible for Group Reporting to the Group audit team under a strict deadline.

DCC plc (Energy, Healthcare and Technology industry - Turnover of £17.7bn) - Senior in charge leading a team of two associates auditing Exertis, a subsidiary of DCC, based in Buffalo, New York. Responsible for auditing areas such as inventory, accounts payable and accruals. Responsible for Group Reporting to the Group audit team under a strict deadline.
