  • During my time at Jefferson Ford, I began my employment working in Dispatch, which involved collating orders through cross checking individual invoices and preparing them for collection by contracted drivers, from an external courier company. Pick up times were 2 or 3 times each day, depending on which run/area you were allocated to on a rotating roster, along with 3 daily pick up times for a Transfer Truck, transporting stock across to the Sunshine Branch.
  • At the end of my first year, my name was put forward to Management, by the Dispatch Team Leader, for 1 of the 2 positions, which were to form a new team, whose sole responsibility was to set out & implement a more structured way of storing stock, in order to maximise the capacity of each zone.
  • After being promoted into my new role, in the Warehouse Standards Team, I was given the further Opportunity to obtain my Elevated Platform License, enabling me to expand my responsibilities to include Operating High Reach Forklifts, for both stock put away & picking.
