• Worked closely with tunnel walker training and supervising the crew while excavating and lining the tunnel.

• Led crews on the excavation and construction of shafts and tunnel on hard rock. oversaw the sheet piles and caissons and the application of dry and wet shotcrete.
• Provided support and mentoring to new team members as they learned various navigational duties, such as mining and running heavy equipment.

• Led crews on the excavation and construction of the shaft and tunnel/cavern to be connected to an existing CSO tunnel. Oversaw sheet piles installation and ran the shotcrete crew once the drilling and blasting was completed.
• Trained crews on shotcrete application and running heavy equipment.

• Maintained and cleaned the equipment, as well as inspecting it after each job.
• Was in charge of operating excavators, loaders, muckers, forklifts, skid steers, man lifts and bobcats in order to complete work in a safe and efficient manner.
• Led with the walker the crew while tunneling.
