  • Greenhouse gases, It is one of the most crucial parts of earth which is nowadays a major concern. Greenhouse gases consider number of gases such as carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and water vapor. Every greenhouse gas includes their different properties, Example, carbon dioxide is absorbed by “carbon sinks” such as forests, soil, and the ocean. If we talk about an average temperature of the earth which is less in consideration if there is no effect of greenhouse gas. But these gases create huge problem for earth because of it increase the temperature of earth, and this increase in temperature experience because of greenhouse gases.
  • Ecological footprints, The Global Footprint Network promotes the ecological footprint to understand and analyse what is necessary to sustain economy. By using an ecological accounting system, it monitors this demand. The ecological footprints can access how humans are dependent on natural resources. It is also the part of supply and demand. The sustainability depends upon the ability of a population to support itself in the present without compromising that ability for the future. It is a simple scenario, when there is an increase in population, the demand of resources will definitely increase, and this is known as environmental sustainability.
  • Over consumption, When the population increase, the demand of natural resources slightly increases, and due to this usage of natural resources consume more than their capability of production, then it will be over consumed. Air pollution and climate collapse are one the biggest example of an overconsumption. It creates a trouble for the planet's life support mechanisms, including water, air, and other natural resources.
  • To minimise the wastage, There is one of the biggest strategies which is now a days a necessary part of ecosystem which works with a cycle called as 3R (REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE). By following this cycle, we can reduce waste, reuse the material, and if necessary, we can recycle so that it will not harm our ecosystem.
  • Misuse of resources, Human being is responsible for harming our ecosystem because we are using natural resources in improper manner because of our benefits, and this will lead to a big harm on our ecosystem as we well as on climate. In other words, the overuse and more production of raw material and leaving residue always impact on our environment in different manner such as soil erosion, water scarcity, loss of biodiversity, impairment of ecosystem services, and a worsening of global warming.
  • To minimise the misuse of resources, Cutting of trees to make new products also impact on ecosystem. In the modern era, forests have been cleared throughout history and the increase in deforestation cause harm to our climate which is major cause of decrease of rain and change in climate. The ozone layer, an area of the earth's stratosphere with high concentrations of ozone that shields the planet from the sun's harmful ultraviolet radiation, is being depleted.
