Baidam Solutions Pty Ltd, Corporate Travel Management, Coles, Red Hat Linux, Windows Server 2008, LDAP, LINUX Scripting, Development IDE, 2, Solution Developer and implementer, October 2022 - December 2022 [Sydney, Australia], Coles uses an existing corporate travel management tool to facilitate the employees to book flights, hotels and car. The vendor of the existing tool is replaced with a new vendor. And this is required to integrate the coles system with the new vendor tool - FCM. This requirement includes the modification of existing integration to manipulate the user data structure and the encryption algorithm along with the encryption keys., Coles internal system runs on on-premises LDAP system. Automated processes enable this system to generate feeds when there is a change in the user's profile. This feed is processed by number of downstream systems or applications to format the data, adding more information to it. This data manipulation convert the data structure into an acceptable format for the end application - FCM tool in this case. The final product after processing the data goes through a process that determines the recipient of the information - FCM in this case. After this, the data is encrypted with GPG keys to ensure security during transportation. To establish the secure channel for data communication, a key exchange takes place at the beginning of the implementation phase where the external vendor (FCM) provides their public key to Coles. The encrypted data is forwarded to an in-house file transfer agent (application) that applies one more layer of encryption for added security while transferring the data through less secured medium. Upon receiving the encrypted data at the recipient side a positive acknowledgment is sent to the sender. The recipient decrypt the data and consumes the changes in the source to synchronize the users' information., Alter code or script to change the data structure of the feed file to satisfy the new requirement. This includes additional attributes and alternation of the value format. Change the feed generation scheduler script configuration to alter the end point consumer FTF queue details. Import consumer's public key into GPG key-store, used for encryption of the data. Additionally, generate a key pair for GPG encryption.
