Metal Casting:

• Operate furnaces to melt metals such as aluminum, steel, iron, or bronze.
• Pour molten metal into sand molds safely and accurately.
• Monitor temperature and pouring process to ensure quality and safety.
• Allow castings to cool, then remove from molds and perform initial cleaning (e.g., shot blasting, grinding).

Inspection and Quality Control:

• Inspect cast parts for surface defects, dimensional accuracy, and conformance to specifications.
• Record production data and report any defects or irregularities.
• Work with the quality team to improve casting quality and reduce scrap.

Maintenance and Safety:

• Perform routine maintenance on molding and casting equipment.
