I am an experienced mining professional with a strong background in heavy machinery operation and underground support roles. Currently working on underground service crew, I have hands-on experience assisting Jumbo drills working as a nipper perviously and participating in development charge-up work. Prior to shifting to mining, I was working as a fencer for 5 years in New Zealand, working on installations and repairs.
I am skilled in operating a variety of machinery, including underground haul trucks, IT's, and I have experience with chainsaws and I am equipped with the technical knowledge and certifications required for safe and efficient operations. I hold a full driver's license, an Australian Class C driver's license, a Working at Heights ticket, a DGSC (Dangerous Goods Card), ERT (Emergency Response Team), first aid, and a white card.
I will be returning to New Zealand in late October and am seeking any opportunities in the mining industry. I am passionate about this career path and would be disappointed to step away from it.
