Outgoing, responsible and ambitious high school graduate, part – time worker and a student completing Open Foundation. Organized and dependable candidate successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude. Willingness to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals. To seek and maintain full-time position that offers professional challenges utilizing interpersonal skills, excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
My Subjects in Open Foundation (Psychology and Human Behaviour in Everyday life, Language in Society)
With the knowledge and lessons I have gained in these two subjects, I am better able to assess the behaviour of people around me. The way language communicates certain ideas has also become clearer to me. I aim to be aware of how my own language and behaviour affect others. By using it, I will be able to interact with them in a more meaningful and effective manner. I can also use this knowledge to better understand other cultures, as well as my own. I can more appreciate the differences in language and the power of words. This allows me to communicate my own ideas more clearly and effectively.
Interest in the job
I have always been passionate about helping people, and I believe that working with individuals with disabilities is an incredibly rewarding and meaningful way to do so. I am particularly interested in the social work side of disabilities, as I want to be part of the process that helps these individuals have better access to services and resources.
I am seeking either a part time position in addition to my current job, or full time if options were available to schedule and I am willing to drop my hours in my current job if I am able to secure the right position and I am able to work Tuesday to Sunday at anytime.
