Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, I am responsible for providing generalist support in a national law firm. This is a high volume role in a growing office and I have a portfolio of 150+ Partners and employees that I support. I navigate complex and dynamic issues and I look to achieve successful outcomes with the highest level of integrity, professionalism and accountability.


  • Build and maintain strong, honest and open relationships with Partners, employees and clients
  • Manage end to end recruitment for both legal and support roles including the recruitment brief, developing position descriptions, considering appropriate recruitment sources, interviewing and making offers
  • Conducting all onboarding and induction sessions for all new starters whilst providing support to integrate them into the firm
  • Consulting with and advising Partners & Managers in relation to performance and conduct/behaviour issues, attending performance meetings and ensuring performance issues have been appropriately documented, followed up and managed
  • Assist with managing the annual performance and remuneration review process including advancements
  • Work closely with Partners and Managers on annual surveys for engagement and psychosocial risks to determine where to focus our efforts
  • Projects: I am currently involved in a national project to improve efficiency, profitability and engagement for a large team (80 people). I am project lead for two workstreams, Culture & Engagement and Organisation & Process.
