Summary

Qualified proficient Chinese Teacher with over 15 years of experience instructing students from Prep to Year 12 on verbal, aural, reading and written Chinese. Developed lesson plans, incorporating lessons, classroom work and homework assignments to instill grammar and vocabulary of challenging language, making foreign linguistic concepts accessible to broad variety of students.

Chinese is a difficult language to learn. The goal is to make learning Chinese language meaningful and fun so that the students can enjoy learning it, at the same time, achieve academic results. The students will learn through singing, dancing, games and authentic role-plays so that it is a meaningful learning experience. One cannot fully appreciate and understand a language without learning its culture too. Therefore, apart from classroom learning, it is also my vision to see the language and culture learnt and practiced outside of the classroom in a real-life situation. These would include excursions and incursions, bringing in community experts and professionals to aid in students' learning experience and culture engagement.

I am committed to bringing a positive learning experience to the students and be of a valuable asset to the language faculty.
