  • Coordination and supervision of the day to day functions and operations of the facilities team, including ensuring processes are in place to manage risk and compliance with legislation and Council policies and procedures
  • Coordinate casual/seasonal facilities allocation for all sports and to oversee the use of Council reserves by the community through the establishment and maintenance of a proficient and effective booking system
  • To provide assistance and support to the administration of sporting and leisure groups
  • Manage wet weather database and operation of closure process
  • Coordinate the seasonal changeover of playing fields
  • Coordinate the administration and financial aspects of the use or hire of Councils community facilities including review of fees and charges, and management committee annual financial returns
  • Implementation of and ongoing management of Councils floodlight management control systems
  • Allocation of sporting facilities to seasonal and casual users
  • Provide direction and advice to the community in relation to planning and administration of sporting activities and projects
