Summary

Having completed a first year graduate program in Cardiology and Endocrinology and a second year graduate program in the Emergency Department; I have had great focus on my learning and development as a Registered Nurse. During the last five years working in Emergency at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital I have developed and accentuated many key clinical nursing skills due to high exposure in trauma care, critical care and all subspeciality areas. Although I have thoroughly enjoyed my nursing progress and development I am looking to step away from this environment and take a new direction of nursing without compensating on direct patient care. From this exposure I have become proficient in ACLS, assisting with RSI, cannulation, sepsis management, trauma assessments, paediatric procedural sedation and team leading to name a few. I pride myself on reliability, punctuality and presentation, both in uniform and how I articulate myself a health care provider. Working in a high acuity Emergency Department has equipped me with vast knowledge I can be utilising within your clinical space and I am confident if given the opportunity, I would strive to demonstrate that I can add great value to your team.
