Regina Mbizvo

I am a 19 years old young woman, who recently completed secondary education. I am from a big family, being the eldest of six children. I describe myself as a responsible, determined, and self-directed person. I am looking at enrolling on tertiary education as soon as possible to start my dream career of being a support worker. After passing Advanced Level with a distinction, l believe l have the full potential to achieve certificate four and a diploma in community services.

I grew up living in the village with my parents who are local farmers. As the eldest child, l was helping on the farm. Selling the farm produce is only the source of for my parents. This made me love working on the farm so as to earn a living and be able to put food on the table. l used to walk long distances to catch affordable transport to go to the nearest city to sell the farm produce. Since then l love walking and it is a relaxing activity for me. Reading has become one of my favourite hobbies since l spend a significant amount of time helping my five siblings to read. Reading will also widen my knowledge and be aware of what's happening around the world.
