- Serve customers looking for the products we sell and help educate/guide them if they are unsure of what to get or how a product works
- Stock
- When stock comes in, add them to our company system for accurate stock numbers on our point of sale system and online website
- Research when new products come in to accurately be able to pitch them to customers and continually research existing products (you can never know too much)
- Do regular stock takes to make sure our numbers are accurate and to identify if theft has occurred
- Merchandising
- Rearrange sections regularly to make new products fit on the shelves and make the section look eye appealing to customers
- Once a month check the expiry dates on a number of products to verify they are still okay to sell
- Admin/Managment
- Print new cleaning sheets and charging sheets for the products so we can keep up to date on both
- Co-ordinate with our staff weekly to make the schedule for the next weeks roster
- When a warranty claim comes in for one of our products, assess if it is warranted for a replacement product and if not explain to the customer as to why it is not

- Sales
- I helped collectors acquire artworks they wanted both on and off the cruiseship. This included framing options, appraisals and shipping details. Upselling more artwork where possible.
- Finance
- This also included understanding and explaining the financial options the collectors had and could take advantage of (park west collectors card, RIC, DPA, creating specific accounts to charge the art to). I also know how to charge the artwork to collectors using all said options and making sure to balance with the finance department onboard.
- Management
- I was responsible for co-ordinating with 10-15 helpers at a time who would help us with the set up and break down of the art auctions. When someones contract was about to expire I needed to replace the helper with someone else. This included making sure they each were paid accordingly.
- Marketing
- I was responsible for making sure that all marketing was done for the auctions. This included : printing up to date raffle tickets for the auction, distributing them, printing and putting up corner signs advertising for the auction and re-ordering marketing supplies from the company website when we ran out.
- Public speaking
- Would be roughly 30 minutes of mic time. I would do a number of artist presentations for VIP collectors at some of our private VIP events.
- I successfully ran the art seminar "30000 years of art history" once a cruise to crowds of 50-75 people. I successfully ran "Art trivia" once a cruise.
- Auctions
- I would help collectors to bid and acquire artworks at the auctions. Part of the responsibilities were to also keep up the energy up in the room for a better selling atmosphere. I was in charge of scheduling appointments for later for collectors to get the artworks. I would auction of works of art based on medium, the background of the artist and pricing. I would do raffles throughout the auction to keep the energy up in the room.

- Operated a forklift or dock stocker, loading pallets of product onto trucks destined for grocery stores. This would include using a handheld scanning device and a number of different sets of paperwork.
- Operated a forklift or dock stocker, received pallets of product for distribution throughout the warehouse.
- Operated a reach truck, putting full pallets of product into racking, replished product that pickers would use to build custom pallets of product or placing full pallets of product on the loading dock destined to another distribution center.
- Use double pallet machine to pick custom orders of products for stores that we supply product for.

- Train new hires on how to build pallets of product in a time efficient/safe manner while making sure the product does not get damaged
- Clean the warehouse to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 disease and train new hires the same protocols we had in the warehouse
