Gaps in Work/Practice

  • I left the nursing profession in 2013 to care for my young family.
  • From 2015 I cared for my father who had cancer, during this time i still used my nursing knowledge, he died in 2017.
  • After my fathers death I cared for my mother who was in early stage dementia. My mother was a Type 1 diabetic who required monitoring. Once my mother dementia progressed she entered and Aged Care facility in 2021, where I visited regularly and monitored her care. She passed away in 2023.
