With over a decade of experience in International Freight, Logistics, and Quarantine, I’ve built a career grounded in precision, responsibility, and strong operational awareness. While this work has been both rewarding and professionally enriching, I’m now looking to return to my true passion—providing dedicated, nurturing care as a nanny. I’m excited to bring my maturity, reliability, and well‑honed organisational skills back into a childcare environment.

I was employed with the Inglis family (Kedron, Brisbane) as a temporary full time nanny. I also worked temporarily for this delightful family with three children previously (in late 2010 to early 2011), and have been richly rewarded as well as challenged by the changing needs of these children. In particular, the family’s response to the mother’s declining health over time was a sensitive and critical issue. Identifying and responding appropriately to the emotional as well as physical needs of the children was rewarding, and I also endeavoured to support the mother in a dignified and practical way with day to day living. Responsible for morning and evening routines, all care and activities relating to the children.

In this role my task included: Baby care, feeding, nappy changing, bathing, and medical appointments as required. Taking children to and from school. Cook nutritious meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Aiding the children in tidying their areas. Arts and craft activities. Reading support. Homework supervision. Taking children to and from extra-curricular activities. Overnight stays when parent had to travel for work.

In early 2010 I gained employment with the de Vries Robbe Family in The Netherlands. I happily relocated and enjoy the experience of living in a foreign country and experiencing the different culture while living in with this family. I was responsible with morning and evening routines, getting children to and from school. After school activities such as sports and playdates. Cooking of nutritious meals for the family.

My daily tasks while with the Feek family included: Plan daily activities, play group and play dates. Preparing nutritious meals. Administer medication. Bathing, changing nappies and general hygiene. Assist with household chores that are relevant to the children, and their day to day activities

Teaching children to swim. Encouraging new children into the water and assuring them they can learn to swim. Assisting to tidy up after each shift before leaving. Care for the welfare of the children

Children from 6 months to 7 years old

• Customer service: consignment monitoring, liaising with both customers and overseas offices, Sales support: quoting, maintaining rates, Document processing, invoicing and weekend work, Coordinated client & customer functions, Working unsupervised

• Assisting customers with enquiries, Restocking Shelves, Using a till, and efficiently cashing up at the end of each shift, Packing customer’s groceries efficiently and hygienically

• Took customers orders, Filled and severed customers food and drinks, Made coffees, Cleared and wiped down tables, Washed dishes, Used the till and handled money
