Lead raw material, production and site dispatch operations across 2 shifts in the 24/7 manufacturing of 1 million tons of cementitious products annually. Role outcomes:

• Raw material management o Operations and management of raw material stockpiles on site. In excess of 100,000 tons – Safety, Quality, Consumption, Cost and Environmental impact. o SAP transactional stock management – receiving, consumption and accuracy o Ship unloader operations – Safety, Delivery and Productivity of raw material unloading operations from shipments via crane unloader o Stock takes and stock reporting • Product delivery o The Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, Cost and Availability of all plant operations (Dryer and 2 Cementitious ball mill plants) producing 1 Million tons of Cementitious products annually o People leadership of 15 Maintainer Operators over 2, 12 hour shifts daily, operating 7 days a week, 365 days per year o Daily manufacturing reporting o Problem solving o Management of change Achievements within the first two months in my role:

• Review, design and implementing a new Daily Management System in collaboration with maintaineroperators, enhancing communication, operational transparency and continuous improvement

• Root Cause Analyses and Action plan execution, identifying and eliminating material losses and stock adjustments valued at $1 Million dollars per annum

• Recruiting and appointing maintainer-operators, closing 25% vacancy gap

• Empowerment of Maintainer-Operator team – identifying skills and knowledge gaps in operational areas. Networking and aligning subject matter experts within the business in supporting skills and knowledge transfers.

• Culture change leader – Setting direction pace and tone, coaching and mentoring team members in adopting an infinite mindset and ideals

• Lead Production and Raw Material Warehouse teams across 2 shifts in formulating, filling, and packing more than 10 million liters of agricultural chemicals annually
• Developed and grown leadership and operator teams, whilst increasing plant throughput by 53%, from 6.5 million liters to 10 million liters annually
• 95% Delivery In Full On Time (DIFOT) team achievement annually
• De-bottle necking plants through effective Problem Solving, Process Modelling, Process Optimization and Capital investment – Fostering a continuous improvement mindset in all we do
• Lead Production and Warehouse staff with affiliative and coaching leadership styles, promoting skill development and empowerment
• Acting site manager during Site Leader’s absence
• Active leadership role in fostering an operational safety culture by cultivating a deep understanding of risks, mitigation strategies and ownership
• Develop technical competency and skill within manufacturing teams to foster an understanding of plant processes and equipment, enabling the team to interpret P&ID’s, prepare risk assessments and execute mitigation
• Build Permit to work competency within supervisory and operator teams
• As production manager, I am accountable for overseeing the effective execution of Plant Hazard and Operability studies
• Accountable for all Management of Change processes on site including New Product Introductions and Technical change
• Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, maintenance, safety, quality, warehousing and production, to identify and address potential safety, quality, and supply risks and opportunities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and business continuity, whilst cultivating a continuous improvement mindset
• As part of the leadership team on site, I support the development of our operational daily manage system, throughout operations, supporting daily Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity and People key performance indicators
• Lead and support a Root Cause Analyses sessions to manage operational deviations cross-functionally through 6M Fishbone and 5 Why’s
• All team members have been equipped with this skillset to foster a Continuous Improvement mindset in all we do
• Lead and support a continuous improvement culture onsite
• As senior leader onsite, I participated in the development and execution of a clear and compelling vision for the site’s change initiative (2020 – Present) that aligns with Bayer’s goals and objectives
• Develop and support operator team to lead and support 5S from the shopfloor across site
• Support operator teams in Setup Time Reduction initiatives to reduce downtime and increase plant productivity (Also known as SMED)
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in Loss- and-Waste analyses, using methodologies such as TIMWOODS, identifying and eliminating operational waste
• Build OEE KPI through downtime and productivity tracking
• User Driven Maintenance change management initiated
• Sponsor digitalization of manufacturing operations and serve as a customer and project team member for major plant capacity increase projects
