- Leading edge manufacturing process and dedicated teams produce high quality food products. Operates two sites located in Western Sydney and employ over 600 staff.
- Primary Functions as the gateway and connection between the sales/marketing, supply chain, and operations department.
- As the demand planner my main role is to generate forecasts based off of historical trends, sales & marketing input and analysis to determine efficient quantities for maintaining stocks and inventory placement.
- Uploading forecasts into SAP to trigger timely replenishment of ingredients and packaging materials
- With a generated forecast, raw material, and packaging material needs are determine, plant and line capacity utilization and crewing requirements are developed and analyzed.
- Measuring, analysing and reporting on forecast accuracy metrics
- Creating and managing forecast for new lines & seasonal launches, managing hibernation/ deletion lines (drive integration of products life cycle from NPD/EPD meetings In to S&OP arena)
- Setting up & maintaining materials master data for packaging, ingredients and Finished Goods in SAP
- Presentation of data and risk analysis are required along with impact summaries of changes and new item implementations.
- Hold daily shortage conference calls with operations and marketing to determine at risk customers for late order fulfillment.
- Hold weekly meetings with DRM’s to discuss inventory positions, future demand, promotions, and opportunities.
- Plan 13 week production schedules and new item launches.
- Generate a 13 week forecast at a SKU level for each production facility in cases, pounds, and dollars.
- Review and adjust inventory targets for all active items.
- Analyze current and future demand against capacity availabilities.
- Created & launched Capacity Models for each production facility.
- Introduced and lead a monthly SI&OP meetings as well as the creation of the master slide
- Manage the placement of inventory between distribution centers.
- Control production schedule against targeted inventory levels at the SKU level.
- Revised the Excel based ERP system to control purchasing and planning of inventory levels on a daily basis.
- Acts as a support role for team members in forms of data management and modeling.
- Metrics compilation and reporting included but not limited to: -Weeks of Supply – Finished Goods Inventory -Obsolescence reporting – Finished Goods -Back orders -Past Due Orders.
