  • I Obtain all relevant information from the Anesthetists and the Scrub Nurse on the patient's arrival to Recovery Room, demonstrate the ability to continuously assess and monitor the patient while in Recovery Room, write patient care plans, monitor patients progress, ensuring accurate records of all relevant observations and clinical assessments are kept and take appropriate action as indicated, take out the LMA and observe for any signs and symptoms of airway obstruction, maintains the patient's confidentiality regarding his/her condition upholding the Code of Professional Conduct at all times, communicate effectively within the team, participate in motivating and supporting team members and maintain confidentiality with patients and carers, give written and verbal advice/teaching to patients and carers.
  • Providing clinical and professional leadership to the PACU team, mentor student and junior nurses, up to date experience of Critical care/high dependency unit. Skills in pain management, competent in Paediatric and High Dependent Unit patient care.
