Reuben Sydney Corser

I specialise in insolvency and restructuring matters for financially distressed companies. I have taken great responsibility and ownership over my work and have been the first point of contact for a number of cases. Some highlights from my professional year include:

- Headlining the investigations into the affairs of a prominent building company in liquidation in the Perth WA region and being the first point of contact. Consulted with legal to arrange for a public examination and reclaim monies through unfair preference payments and insolvent trading.

Interned with Packer & Co in the month of June 2019 and again in June 2020. Here I was introduced to basic investing principles, the global economy and global financial markets. I would contribute regularly to team discussions and speculate on which trends might lead us into the future and the investment bubbles to be wary of.

Managed and delegated staff in the members bar of RFBYC. Formed and maintained strong relationships with the members and added to my professional network.

Interned at a boutique tax firm in Subiaco. Completed research, compiled data, updated spreadsheets and produced timely reports. Completed XERO adviser certification course.

Recently appointed National Liaison of the RINWA general committee.
