Accomplishments

  • Managed the introduction of the Army Capability Management System to 3 RAR in 2004 and developed a training program for Coy HQs and other Ops Cell staff members.

Language Skills History

I emigrated to Australia with my Indonesian parents in 1969 as a 4-year old. English is my First language and Indonesian is my second. Although I lost a native ability to speak Indonesian, I understand its culture well. My parents were both polyglots, my mother was a highly respected Indonesian language teacher in the Victorian Education system. I was married to an Indonesian woman from 1990-2010., Indonesian General Course, 42 weeks, Dec 2005, L2/2+ (intermediate), Indonesian Primary Skills-Initial Employment Training Department, 22 weeks, L2/2+, Military Liaison Instructor (Army), Teaching Indonesian as well as managing SIG and SIGINT IET trainees for Army and Navy and Air Force equivalents, Special Operations Command Language Training Facility (LANGS West), Pashtun, Tagalog, Indonesian, Indonesian Language Course including a language training laboratory to 4 RAR (CDO), end of 2019, 17 Jun 2024,
