Work History

Zero Harm Advisor

Downer
Brisbane, Queensland
06.2022 - Current

'Rhett was employed due to his ability to lead a team and his ability to expand on our Pillar of Thought Leadership. We were looking for a Safety Leadership expert who challenges the norm and looks outside standard embedded processes to find the best solutions. Rhett has worked extensively on building a solid Leadership focus within his internal and external safety network and has been active in implementing many different initiatives to support his overall Zero Harm agenda.

Working in direct correlation with our People and Culture team, Rhett led the roll out of the Own Better project as our starting point to build staff engagement which is a critical first step in getting our teams onboard with our direction. The ongoing support Rhett has given our team in preparing and rolling out the 'Out and About' strategy has been immense. It has been supportive and driven to ensure all team members understand their role and how they can be best supported to deliver on the objectives.

My summary on Rhett to date is that he was employed in the hope we got a Zero Harm Advisor who gave us Leadership within Zero Harm. He has given us that and certainly more.
