Manage internal and external audit findings
Maintain, update and implement safety policies and procedures to reflect Policies, current legislation and best practice.
Support local divisions with all health and safety matters.

Conduct regular safety audits and area inspections in relation to safety standards and procedures.
Conduct regular toolbox sessions and incorporate safety training and education sessions.
Travel to branches to roll out initiatives and conduct regular audits.
Manage and coordinate all investigations following safety incidents.
Identify training needs following safety incidents and make recommendations.
Provide Safety risk tools training as required i.e. Take 5, JSA, OHAs, Hazards ID
Provide administrative and direct support for workers’ compensation, injury management and return to work programs.
Develop and maintain fire evacuation procedure and conduct annual fire and evacuation drills.
Provide mentoring to Supervisors on VOC and drive the training process (work in conjunction with the Training Manager).
Development and implementation of safe work documentation (Risk Assessment and Safe Work Procedure).
Conduct site chemical audits and update chemical management software.
Provide support in use of HSE management software.
