In my role as ICT Infrastructure & Remote Operations Leader at Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS), I am responsible for the strategic management of centralized ICT infrastructure and remote services capabilities on a global scale. Key aspects of my role include overseeing the HBT cloud platform and services, as well as managing the Install/Service OEM capability.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Global Operations Management:

• Lead and manage a ICT Operations Team - 10 resources distributed across the US, UK, Australia, and India.
• Oversee centralized ICT Infrastructure & Remote Services, ensuring seamless L1 to L3 support for HBT Productivity Tools and remote building operations centers.

Cloud Platform & Services:

• HBT cloud platform and services, including the design and implementation of cloud 'Infrastructure as a Service' (IAAS) offerings based on Microsoft Azure.

OEM Capability and Global Hardware Portfolio:

• Establish global OEM program, standardizing and optimizing platforms based on Dell EMC/VMware hardware and software solutions. 20 million annual revenue and >5 million savings.
• Drive the Install/Service OEM capability for enterprise hardware, contributing to annual revenue growth.

Global Standards and Guidelines:

• Define and document HBS design guidelines for Install/Service globally, encompassing deployment guidelines, connectivity standards, and maintenance standards.

ICT/Cybersecurity Leadership and Training Programs:

• Spearhead the development and implementation of a comprehensive ICT/Cybersecurity training curriculum and certification programs for HBS global ICT & Cybersecurity resources.
• Establish more than 20 online learning modules and a 3-day instructor-led training course, ensuring industry-aligned skill development.

Infrastructure Monitoring and Support:

• Manage the ICT infrastructure support for internal field productivity tools, utilizing tools such as SolarWinds N-Able, ConnectWise Control, Sonicwall/Fortinet NMS, and others.

HBOC (Honeywell Building Operations Center):

• Assume responsibility for remote L2 ICT resources, define Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for L1 resources, conduct case triage, and support proactive remote maintenance activities for HBOC customers globally.

Global LAB Management:

• Oversee the testing, evaluation, and qualification of all hardware and software used in conjunction with Honeywell Software and Systems.
• Establish and manage the Global LAB environment, ensuring it aligns with the evolving needs of the organization.

Operational Leadership Highlights:

• Developed and implemented strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Established standard operating procedures for compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Monitored team performance and identified areas for improvement to enhance productivity.
• Provided operational guidance and support to staff to achieve organizational goals.
• Created detailed reports on operational performance metrics for upper management.
• Collaborated with vendors on pricing negotiations and product quality assurance initiatives.

After establishing myself with Honeywell and successful completion of Fiona Stanley Hospital project I progressed into a regional role as Lead ICT Engineer (APAC), The role is focused around improving ICT excellence across Honeywell Building Solutions Projects & Services sites across APAC and Globally.

During my time as Lead ICT Engineer, APAC I have driven ICT innovation, compliance and excellence through initiatives, vendor relationships, improved engagement, solution design, vendor partnerships and introduction of tools to support how we design, deliver, and support our solutions across the region and globally.

I was employed by Honeywell Building Solutions in April 2012 as an Senior Systems Engineer to support the Fiona Stanley Hospital Project, a flagship Hospital in the Perth CBD. The role was to support the ICT Delivery for the project that included design and engineering, solution validation and testing, deployment, configuration and documentation for the ICT infrastructure and Networks to support Honeywell's building management software (EBI) and video management solution (DVM). During my time in this role I successfully delivered along with my team a fully functional system that we now currently support in the WA service business. After successful completion of the project in December 2013, I took on infrastructure, support and management for the virtual environment, storage, network and server infrastructure. In addition, I was involved in numerous other large projects across the region.
