  • Forecasting, reporting to New Scientist’s Global sales director via video conference weekly and creating annual business plans
  • Collaborating with ANZ marketing team to create compelling trade campaigns to raise New Scientist's profile
  • Re-designing New Scientist's entire sales collateral, implementing multiple fresh research studies and pitching and winning budget from head office for critical sales and research resources
  • Achievements ∙ In 2019 delivered the largest annual revenue New Scientist had ever enjoyed in ANZ
  • Creating biggest digital “Native” advertising project in New Scientists’ history worth $140,000 = 20% of New Scientist's annual ANZ budget for APPEA who are the voice of Australian Gas.

  • Managing all internal communications between property editors Leanne Croker and Jenny Stevens.
  • Managing a team of 7 inclusive of sales and administration staff
  • Key contact for all the property markets client MD’s & CEO’s
  • Achievements ∙ In 2010-2011 financial year the team won 1.8 million $$ of new business
  • One example of this new business is Lend Lease developments who had only invested 81k previous year
  • I personally flew to Adelaide to see Mediacom and structured a group deal across all newspaper and on-line platforms winning $239,000
  • One of my major achievements in this role was creating a integrated campaign called “The Search for NSW Favourite Tradie”.
  • 25% of all tradies in NSW read The Daily Telegraph and I created a multi- platform competition including significant editorial integration, large marketing support, True Local and all our newspaper and on-line platforms
  • This campaign ran for 14 weeks and we secured a naming right sponsorship from Allianz Tradie Insurance through key accounts for 150k
  • Competition drove 5000 hits to the nominations page and over 7000 public votes
  • I was awarded quarterly sales award for this campaign
  • Launched a new weekly real estate publication called Open House with only 6 weeks’ notice
  • This involved high activity period of 100+ presentations across the state before a February 2011 launch
  • We received personal commendation from our Managing Director Michael Miller for the team’s performance and financial result delivering 700k+ of new business across the first 20 editions.

  • These awards are voted on by our director’s and presented by our Managing Director
  • Publishing multiple media first executions in our portfolio including a major product placement deal for Fantastic Furniture (90k), the first cover wrap in home magazine for Stockland (45k) and a new creative execution called “view from the top” where advertisements run at the top of editorial pages aimed at land developers selling land with vistas
  • Developing close working relationship with our editor’s which has enabled us to launch new features about master planned communities, regional growth areas and themed months plus gain access to senior clients.

  • Achievements ∙ the Take 5 team achieved 2008/2009 financial year budget in May 2009 (the only title from ACP mass weeklies to hit budget this year)
  • TV WEEK achieved budget for July/Dec period and hit a revised financial year forecast.

  • Achievements ∙ Sold Video Ezy an integrated sponsorship deal driving TV WEEK $320,000 fresh revenue
  • I commissioned a new research film to present to agencies
  • We recruited a real TV WEEK family and filmed their day-to-day lives and how they consumed the Magazine as a family then backed it with quantitative research
  • Successfully raised the magazine profile by negotiating for Simmone Jade McKinnon from McLeod’s Daughters to come to agencies to promote TV WEEK for free and have her photo taken with our clients, which were then sent to them on false front covers

  • Connections ∙ I was key contact with Agency Board Directors on key accounts such as Coca Cola, Disney, O2 and VW to name just a few
  • Achievements ∙ I introduced cross media presentations using Clear Channel’s entire portfolio of businesses including SFX (Sports Management ), Clear Channel Entertainment, theatre and global
  • The team grew BVI (Disney) investment in Adshel from £1 million to £2.3 million across my 4 years at the company
  • I personally secured £350,000 in fresh revenue from ASDA supermarkets using new consumer insights including Vox Pop films
