I have had a number of jobs all physically and mentally demanding and i am always looking for more skills to pick up, i have always worked in the public eye, and always aim to please the not only the workplace but the patrons and people that fuel it.
I plan to continue my studies in Ocean related studies, my end goal is try and get a marine officer role for the fisheries or as a biosecurity officer for DPIRD, while gaining other studies to back me up in the future as well as, help grow our future in wa while keeping our eco system safe. I would like to achieve my coxswains, skippers ticket, ESS (essential shipboard and safety) Aswell as my commercial divers ticket, forklift and manual license.
During my studies at South Metropolitan TAFE, I have had experience in handling aquaculture systems, I monitored feed activities, planned for minimal impact, I identified activities of diseases and pests as well as practicing biosecurity procedures, I also supported hatchery operations and monitored stock and environmental conditions.
During my time working at my jobs i have had plenty of experience with patrons, customers and working in the public eye, i have had potentially volatile situations and have always dealt with it in a professional matter.
Having my education in aquaculture and my time at my at pet magic,Tafe,Pases and work experience I find great fulfillment in educating others about animal care and the ecosystem. It's not just a passion it's where I truly thrive. Being able to share my knowledge and empower others to make positive contributions to both animal welfare and the environment is incredibly rewarding to me.
