I have completed over half of my apprenticeship with Tobin Plumbing. Whilst doing general plumbing in the commercial industry, I have worked on new builds for schools and hospitals doing mainly drainage, rough in and fit off.

A&L Windows

• Carried out day to day duties such as completing orders for single and double glazed windows

Tigers International Solutions

• Pick Packing orders for Bunnings by stacking boxes on a pallet and placing different types of metal on a skid

Abbe Industrial Packaging

• Learning how to operate the machinary needed to cut the timber in different sizes and putting together pallets with a nail gun

At Jeztek Plumbing the main areas we worked in were solar, as a first year apprentice i worked extremely hard and picked up as many skills as I could in the time being there.

Some of the jobs that were done on a day to day basis included:-

• Solar panels
• Heat pumps and hot water systems
• Split system air conditioners
• Running copper pipe from the hot water system to the solar panels on new builds
• Running copper pair coil through new/existing homes and installing split system air conditioners

Some of the power /hand tools needed to complete these jobs included:

• Copper Cutters
• Copper Benders
• Flaring Block
• Bpress tool
• Power drills
