I also set up a little promotion in association with our local Whitcoulls store
Listeners had to fill out an entry form and simply answer a question in association with the sale that Whitcoulls was having at the time
The lucky person won a $200 prize pack from Whitcoulls
I was also involved with setting up and executing various other events within the local community for the station involving the public
I also hosted a local bachelor competition, which went very well
With that I showed my public speaking skills and came up with challenges that the bachelors were to take part in
There was a variety of different activities for the bachelors to take part in
On the very last night, we held an auction to raise money to benefit the local volunteer fire-fighters
I was also asked to be a judge at a local talent competition
