C-Tech Services P/L Contracts Co-ordinator / Field Technician Duties: • General workshop upkeep 2004 - 2011 • Maintenance of in excess of 30 sites including: o Booster Chlorination units (wiring, assembly and manufacturing) o Colt sites o Plant sites • Monitoring of Scada technology • Set-up, fabricate, assemble and remove disinfectant plants & equipment facilities as required • Data collection • Maintenance of chemicals • Monitoring and adjustment of recording control instruments • Checking and calibration of instruments • Delivery and correct dilution of chemicals for water treatment, including loading and unloading ( forklift )
Performed preventative maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
Conducted site surveys for new installations, including evaluation of existing infrastructure and installation requirements.
Provided technical support to customers via phone, email and in person.
Maintained inventory of parts and supplies used for repairs and service calls.
Diagnosed system issues by running tests, troubleshooting hardware and software problems and replacing defective components.
Repaired faulty electronic equipment using specialized tools such as soldering irons or oscilloscopes.
Assisted in developing training plans for technicians on the use of new technology.
Identified potential safety hazards related to job tasks and took appropriate action to eliminate them.
Monitored system performance remotely using diagnostic tools such as ping utilities or network monitoring software.
Responded quickly to emergency situations requiring immediate attention.
Trained staff members on proper use of equipment, processes and procedures.
