Responsibilities And Duties

  • Offer individualised assistance and care to elderly and disabled individuals both in their community and while they are in placement.
  • Inform the appropriate Supervisor, Coordinator, or After-Hours Coordinator of any support or care-related difficulties as soon as possible after or during critical and non-critical situations.
  • Utilising the client's care plans for all daily activities, and cultivating a friendly, open rapport with the families.
  • Administrative responsibilities include handling money, keeping track of bills and receipts received throughout the workday, keeping client files organised at home, and using the most recent forms.
  • Managing forecourt safety, keeping up with efficient stock control and merchandising for the best possible store appearance, and performing general cleaning duties with permitted chemicals
  • Encouraging a secure work environment, taking credit card, EFTPOS, and cash payments, and using an electronic cash register and console
