Project Description: The scope of this project is to provide continuous support, maintenance, and enhancement of the 6 PEGA applications (PEGA v8.x) that is agreed between Cognizant and QBE. This involves production defect and issue fixing, problem analysis and managing. Scope includes to implement enhancements which include analysis, designing coding, deployment, debugging and post-production support by following PEGA and organizational best practices. Strive for continuous improvement of the applications and processes and focus on automate manual effort and processes wherever possible.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Have been leading from onshore, Australia, coordinating and managing a team of 4 in offshore to ensure deliverables timely.
• Have been working with background processing components like Queue Processors, Job Schedulers, Listeners etc.
• Have been working in PRPC User Interface development like- Sections, Harnesses, Skin rules, Flows, Flow Action, and implementation of Declarative Processing, Decision Rules, Reporting, Data Transform, Activities, Case Type, Integration, Data Types, Rule Set structures, Properties etc. as per requirements.
• Have been working on enhancements by coordinating with various business stakeholders, clarifying business requirements, and translating them into application codes in PRPC 8.x
• Have been providing continuous BAU Support and maintenance of the applications.
• Involved in fixing the incidents and issues raised by business users for the application supported.
• Have been performing Peer and team code review.
• Identifying the system instabilities, areas of improvement and involving in performance tuning. Using Dynatrace to investigate the performance issues.
• Have been automating the manual effort areas and improved user productivity.
• Have been creating new application patch, deploying codes and Applications to different environments manually, PEGA Deployment Manager and Azure Dev Ops.
• Preparing Technical Solution, Technical Specification and Unit testing documents for the deliverables.

Client Name: Prudential Retirements

Technologies used: PRPC 7.x, SQL

Project Description: STARS is an insurance application for handling post retirement services like benefits and settlements for the clients. It is responsible for the processing of the retirement benefits based on the participant plans. The goal of the application is to improve customer service by optimizing business processes and automating workflows. This project includes a module to re-write 25 work process which was built in Common Front End system (.NET). Built integration with some third party systems which are outside customer network. Project also involves in migrating the Forms and Letters from documaker to HP Extreme platform, replaces the .NET application to PEGA and to migrate the related batch stored procedures to Enterprise service bus (ESB) platform. While here in this project we have migrated the 775 Online forms. This project Involves in migrating existing Connect-SOAP Services to Connect-REST to improve the response time. This project involves a module of fixing the post-production support issues and new small enhancements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Have been Leading and managing a team of 4 to ensure deliverables timely.
• Delivered quality product in both Agile and waterfall methodology. Translated user stories into building applications maintaining PEGA best practices.
• Migrated integration rules like SOAP to REST services and improved system performance. Worked in PRPC User Interface development that includes - Sections, Harnesses, Skin rules, Flows, Flow Action, and implementation of Declarative Processing features – Expressions, Decision Rules etc.
• Worked in various PRPC components like Reporting, Data Transform, Activities, Case Type, and Integration etc. Have formulated design of Class structure, Data Types, Rule Set structures, Properties etc. as per requirements.
• Have done extensive de-bugging and solved bottleneck issues using various PRPC de-bugging components like Tracer, Clipboard, SMA and Logs.
• Interacting and attended scrum calls with the Client, Business Analysts, and the team members for better understanding of the business requirements. Have done deployment of codes and applications in higher environments manually and through automated process.
• Provided post-production support after code deployment. Have done peer and team code review, unit test case designs and documentation.
• Provided solutions and scope to improve performance of system and applications. Have automated the manual effort areas and improved productivity and decreased client costs significantly.
• Implemented main and off-cycle releases by creating tickets, release documents, Implementation plan, reviewing plan, Stage installation, setting up production environment.
