  • Established the Perth office in 2017 and moved to Sydney in 2019 for 4 years
  • Responsible for delivering equity capital markets and corporate advisory services including sourcing, planning, structuring, project managing and executing all forms of primary and secondary market capital raisings including pre-IPO financing's, IPO's, placements, entitlement offers, block trades and convertible note financing's
  • Deep relationships with corporates and mining industry people, mid-small-micro cap institutional funds, private equity, family offices, strategic investors, wealth groups, and sophisticated investors in Australia, Asia and offshore

Key aspects of my role were to:

  • Drive growth - Develop relationships with new and existing corporates in order to expand the business
  • Transactions - Responsible for leading equity capital markets transactions and capital raisings including sourcing, structuring, managing and executing transactions and capital raisings
  • Distribution - Selling investment opportunities to clients including working with and managing the institutional dealing team to grow our investor network and distribution to our client base of mid-small-micro cap institutional funds, private equity, family offices, strategic investors, wealth groups, and sophisticated investors
  • Corporate access – provide clients with bespoke access to listed and private companies, industry experts, organise deal and non-deal roadshows, and sector-based conferences, zooms and events

Achievements:

  • Sponsored over A$1bn of capital raisings in the last 3-4 years
  • Significant transactions include $240m JMS.ASX IPO – 2018 and $250m SYR.ASX Placement & Entitlement Issue 2022
  • Promoted to Head of Corporate in 2019 and Co-Head Institutional Sales in 2022
  • Appointed as Executive Director in 2022.

  • Started as an analyst for the LinQ Resources fund where I had responsibility for top down and bottom up evaluation of natural resource companies
  • Key contributor to the recommended investment paper that went to the investment committee
  • LRF invested via equity but had a bias towards convertible note financing
  • Key contributor, given my financial background, to the commercial structuring of convertible notes and debt facilities in term sheets and then legal documentation, interfacing with our legal advisors, where we progressed financing's through to financial close
  • When LRF was acquired by its major unit holder in 2013 and subsequently delisted from the ASX, I moved into a corporate advisory role with LinQ Corporate
  • Key aspects of my role: critique opportunities, source and advise on corporate mandates
  • Structure, finance and execute transactions including equity raisings, debt raisings, advisory, M&A, divestments, and ASX listings
