- Shut down maintenance on lubrication systems across different plants (crushers, apron feeders, belt systems etc)
- Installation, maintenance and diagnosis/repair of SPLs such as perma lube and skf and auto lube systems eg

- Removing and installing auto Grease systems to different systems (wheel locks, crushers, etc) on various minesites during shut-downs
- Tube and hose crimping and installation to manufacturer specifications
- Confined space work and EWP works for installation and maintenance of oil and Grease lubrication systems
- Draining, sampling and refilling of oil on screens and exciters gearboxes of various sizes and models on multiple minesites following safe working procedures
- Developing JHAs and permits to work in accordance with various mine sites( bhp, fmg and Rio tinto)
- Working with other contractors and mine companies to follow a shut-down Gant and timeframe
- Filter removal and install on heavy plant
- Refitting and testing of lubrication lines in accordance with mine site commissioning protocols
- Completing weekly work orders with clients as stand in lube team members at various sites (Christmas Creek,cloudbreak, Solomon, iron bridge etc)
- Rigging loads to assist in movement of gearboxes and job cages
- Nightshift and dayshift work.
HYDROCARBON PROJECTS TECHNICIAN
