• Responsible for snow clearing/maintenance of road conditions on Guthega Road, Kosciiuszko National Park, NSW. Majority of this road is unsealed in addition to both sealed and unsealed visitors car parks at the direction of RMS Area Commander.
• Constant weather and road condition patrols during shift around approaching weather fronts
• A detailed shift analysis and vehicle log were undertaken at the end of the shift and forwarded to RMS Southern Command.
• Snow blower and loader coordination for following shifts during and after heavy snowstorms

• Monitored weather conditions to determine appropriate course of action for clearing roads.
• Communicated with dispatch regarding road closures or hazardous conditions encountered during shift.
• Assisted with the installation of salt spreaders on vehicles.
• Maintained a safe working environment by adhering to safety regulations and procedures.
• Cleared snow, ice and other debris from Alpine Way, Thredbo and Guthega Road, Guthega to maintain road safety.
• Coordinated with other operators in order to efficiently complete assigned tasks within allotted time frame.
• Worked effectively in team environments to make the workplace more productive.
• Maintained updated knowledge through continuing education and advanced training.
