  • The crew’s main role was to bring the reliability and availability of all the grinding mills including drive train alignments, component change outs and relines.
  • Develop new lifter profile and designs to reduce reline times and improve wear rates while increasing throughput rates to maximum capacities.
  • To identify a full list of critical spares Gearbox’s pinions trunnion bearings and throat liners and all spares associated with the Mill grinding circuits.
  • Identify and source mill gearboxes and send away for rebuilds including test running each gearbox and obtaining a full report on vibration and heat outputs for quality assurance.
  • Building and implementing a full reliability plan for each Grinding circuit including preventative maintenance
  • Upgrading conveyor circuits chute redesign fabrication and installation to increase chute and liner life and spillage prevention.
  • Develop and implement work methodology and safety procedures and ensure ongoing improvement of the crew and mill availability.
